The Line of Best Fit
Another piece of delicate homespun folk from London singer-songwriter Annie Eve, this time in the form of a stirring acoustic version for Sofar Sounds’ new compilation album. It premieres today on Best Fit.
Fingers walk across strings and catchy, earthy melodies interlock, but it’s Miss Eve’s off-centre, dusty vocal that is at once most bewildering and captivating here. Truly gorgeous stuff.
The studio version of “Shuffle” is taken from her upcoming Feversome EP, released on 17 March via Young and Lost Club. Pre-order here. This acoustic version features on Sofar Sounds’ compilation album, which is out now.
