Anna Of The North ignite tropical vibes on new gem "Fire"
Anna Of The North have dropped "Fire", a searing new preview of upcoming debut long-player Lovers.
This latest track joins up with "Somebody" and "Money" to preview the LP.
"It was the last track written for the record and we really wanted it to be something special," the duo say. "Listening back, I think you can sense that every bit of feeling we had left in us was poured into this one. We were completely spent at the end of the long journey of making the record, but that heightens the emotion of the performance; deepening the desperation of the story. 'Fire' is about the destructive things we always do to each other at the end of relationships."
Anna Of The North have been busy lately - as well as playing with Justin Bieber in London over the summer, they sidled up alongside Frank Ocean on Tyler, The Creator's recent single "911 / Mr. Lonely" and Corinne Bailey Rae and Rex Orange County on the Cali rapper's "Boredom".
The pair - Norwegian vocalist Anna Lotterud and New Zealand producer Brady Daniell-Smith - have a bunch of live dates planned for the summer, and will also play a headline date at London's Omeara on 26 September. Find out more.
