Hailing from Suffolk, duo Amethysts offer up swirling, immersive electro-pop on second single "Stones".
At the core of "Stones" is a rib-shaking throb of sub bass, overlaid with lead singer Clarice Parrott's gossamer vocal. Synths and guitars deftly create texture alongside Parrott's distorted vocal samples and spiky drum machines.
"Stones" is a rich soundscape of a track, and it's little suprise Radio 1's Huw Stephens has already expressed support for the fast-rising pair. With the promise of a several releases to come in 2017, these gems are certainly worth a listen.
"Stones" is out now..
