Hear composer Adaline soar into life on new single "Entertainer"
Canadian-born, Los Angeles-based vocalist/composer Adaline shares "Entertainer", the soaring lead cut from forthcoming album Aquatic.
Adaline reflects on the theme of water and its ability to sustain and destroy across the 10 tracks which make up Aquatic, her third full-length release.
Having honed her craft working on collaborations, live residencies, and taking her time to live life, opening track "Entertainer" is exceedingly human.
“I don’t need another person to merely entertain me romantically,” explains Adaline of the track, which deals with the ups and downs of trying to find something serious with someone who has a bit of substance. “I’m looking for a little bravery. I find it a common sentiment in my generation: we’re looking for something just a little more profound.”
