ADAL enlists XY&O vocalist Alexanderson for the '80s-referencing pure pop of "Synthesize"

Following on from the dreamy "Fire To You", Brighton-based producer ADAL is back with another gleaming electronic pop song.
Featuring the vocal talents of Alexanderson from XY&O, "Synthesize" again finds ADAL mining the '80s and coming up with another rich vein of form.
Perhaps a more soulful sound than his previous work - and that's down in no small part to Alexanderson's passionate and carefree voice, delivering all sorts of electronic-based sex metaphors - the track bounces along on bright synths and soft rock programmed drums. It's great fun, and a fine antidote to the winter blues.
"Synthesize" is out today. ADAL plays the Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen on 21 February.
