9Bach are sharing "Llyn Du", their new single/video
9Bach have shared their new video for "Llyn Du", the latest single from upcoming LP Anian.
The video for "Llyn Du", is inspired by Caradog Prichard's novel One Moonlit Night and was filmed on Snowdonia mountain during severe weather warnings. The warden told them not to trek up to the lake they wanted to film at, but they did anyway, and their cameras were almost destroyed by gale force winds.
The band's frontwoman Lisa Jenn says of the video: "Imagine Cwm Idwal lake, or Ogwen lake on a moonlit night. You might come across this deranged and damaged queen under the black shimmering ice cold water."
Anian is out 29 April via Real World. It's the follow up to Tincian, and comes with a "bonus disc/companion piece" featuring names such as Peter Gabriel, Maxine Peake, Rhys Ifans, and Bonnie Dobson.
9Bach are headed out on tour to support the release later this month.
