Following the release of his mini-album Emancipated Hearts in November last year, Galaxie 500 and Luna man Dean Wareham is set to release his first ever full-length solo album via Sonic Cathedral on 10 March.
The self-titled, nine-track record was produced by Jim James of My Morning Jacket and recorded at James’ studio in Louisville Kentucky after the pair met through Jim’s manager because they had been aware of, and fans of, each others work for quite some time. A typically rich, sophisticated affair marked by Wareham’s warm dulcet tones and refined guitar work, you can stream the entire record right now.
