New wave R&B soloist Banoffee streams Do I Make You Nervous EP [Premiere]
Banoffee has done much to intrigue and excite us since the early fruits of her labour in late 2013. Today she unveils the follow-up to her 2014 self-titled debut EP with Do I Make You Nervous?
The moniker of Martha Brown, Banoffee first hooked us in with the sugary R&B of "Reign Down". There followed a promising debut EP of intimate, minimalist R&B (the infectious "Got It" of particular note) which hinted at a move towards house music in the shape of bouncy closing track, "Let's Go To The Beach".
Released this Friday, 2 October via Dot Dash / Remote Control Records, her new EP opens with a similar energy on lead single "With Her", produced by long-term collaborator and friend Oscar Key Sung.
