Last week, Sigur Rós showed everyone how albums should be streamed. On Thursday (17 May) at 7pm wherever you were in the world, you could have a listen to their new record for a whole hour. The entire affair was dubbed ‘Valtari Hour’, was accompanied by its own hashtag, and resulted in a virtual listening party on mass scale.
However, if you were busy that day or simply can’t wait to listen to the record again, the Icelandic band are now streaming Valtari in full via NPR. You can listen to it here, and we’d love to hear your thoughts by commenting the article below. Let’s all have a listening party of our own!
Valtari is out on 28 May via EMI/XL Recordings.
