Irish alt-folk troubadour Seamus Fogarty shares “Carlow Town” and announces new album
The Curious Hand, Fogarty’s first on Domino Records, follows debut-full length God Damn The Mountain and EP Ducks & Drakes
Seamus Fogarty recounts a night spent sleeping in church on new offering “Carlow Town”, the second single taken from his upcoming album. The collision of Aristotelian lyric poetry (minus lyre) and questionable electronic manipulations take what could easily be condemned as beige folk music and turns it into a sonic exploration mirrored by sublime storytelling.
