Ultraviolet EP

The great thing about this EP is that I feel like I am bringing you the high energy band driven pop sound that I love. The songs are all different and bring something unique to the table. I am excited to release this first set of songs. They're just the start of what is to come!

Fight Sleep

You know when you have a fucking brilliant night and don't want to go to bed because you just don't want the night to ever end? That is what "Fight Sleep" is about. The song was written whilst I was out in LA this spring. Being out there was such an adventure, so many new people and new impressions and I didn't want to miss out on any of it.

Too Young

"Too Young" is about when you become so comfortable in a relationship that you just stop making an effort. I think that you are always too young for that to happen, both in love and in life. "Too Young" is about desperately wanting to get back that spark!

Ultraviolet

"Ultraviolet" is about when you meet someone that you have that insane connection with, and you just know that you're about to get hit by something, hard. It's that slightly dangerous, but oh-so-exciting, effect someone can have on you.

Backbeat

"Backbeat" has been a massive part of getting where I am today. I wrote it with Sam McCarthy in Portsmouth and always knew it was different but I had no idea it was gonna change everything so much. It's the song that started it all for me and it's really just about letting go and freeing yourself in a way.

Fool's Gold

"Fool's Gold" was written after a conversation we had in studio about our first loves. You get that head over heals full on high the first time, but when you look back you realize it wasn't necessarily all that. The song is really about the question of whether or not you'll ever feel anything in that way again. It was originally called "Fool's Love", but I changed it to "Fool's Gold" cause I thought it was even more fitting.
