Album that made me want to Breakdance
Street Sounds Best Of Electro Vol 1. I tried it but by limbs wouldn’t bend enough. I stuck to the ‘hold your pint and shuffle about’ school of boogie.
First album I bought that wasn’t the Beatles; Public Enemy, Fear Of A Black Planet.
I knew it was rap or hip hop which I wasn’t sure about at the time but for some reason I was drawn to this album and made my mum take me to Our Price to buy it on cassette. It didn’t leave my sports Walkman for some months.
Album that got me into dance music – The Prodigy Experience
The Prodigy Experience. I was really into Nirvana when I heard this for the first time. I still loved Nirvana but this got me into DJing and discovering House and Techno music.
