Watch Efterklang, Indians, When Saints Go Machine, MØ and Trentmoller talk about the magic of Roskilde Festival
A fixture on the festival calendar since 1971, Roskilde has become one of Europe’s most beloved festivals with a musical scope the rival of Glastonbury, covering both mainstream and the niche.
The nine-day Danish event returned this year with one of its strongest line-ups to date, pitching Kraftwerk, The National and Rihanna against Sigur Ros, King Krule and Savages as well as an incredible selection of our favourite European bands.
We headed over Denmark to find out what makes Roskilde so special and talked to the likes of Efterklang, When Saints Go Machine, MØ and Indians. We also learnt what happened when Kanye West asked if he could join Anders Trentemøller onstage.
