Polaroids with The Lumineers
We catch up with Denver-based folk-rock trio The Lumineers for some rooftop Impossible Polaroids before their sold out show at Brixton Academy in London.
In London as part of the European leg of the Cleopatra tour which kicked off in Bristol, The Lumineers are now set to play Paris, Belgium, Amsterdam, Cologne, Hamburg, Groningen, Berlin, Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen before heading Stateside for nationwide dates through May and June.
They're returning to the UK in June this year for Glastonbury, with other festival appearances including Latitude in July and Sziget and Pukkelpop in August.
We also captured their stand-out performance that night at Brixton Academy in live photos, which kicked off proceedings with 'Sleep on the Floor' and ended on 'Stubborn Love'.
The Lumineers' LP Cleopatra is out now on Dualtone/Ada, including the singles 'Ophelia' and 'Angela'. Best Fit's review of the record found it 'an album that coheres more effectively than did the first, and it’s one that shows an adventurousness while staying within sight of the elemental spirit of its inspiration."
