Justin Townes Earle: Harlem River Blues // Album Stream
13 September 2010, 12:00
Words by Rich Hughes
To kick start our Bloodshot Records Week here on TLOBF, we’ve got an exclusive chance for you to stream the excellent new album from Justin Townes Earle. In my opinion, one of the best alt-country albums for years.
After the break-through that was Midnight At The Movies, Justin finally seems to be happy with his lot. Harlem River Blues is a lush stroll through the Alt-Country back catalogue, distancing himself from his father’s political work and finding his own rich seem of storytelling to mine.
Don’t just take my word for it anyway, have a listen below. The record is out next Monday.
