Who would play you in the movie of your life?

I think I'd want it to be animated and my character would be like a mix of Marceline the Vampire Queen and Eliza Thornberry

What would your superpower be and why?

Teleportation. I hate staying anywhere for too long. Plus I'd never be late.

What's your idea of heaven?

I don't need much. Warm weather, good company.

What one thing have you learnt from you parents?

My dad is a martial artist, so a lot of eastern philosophies that tie into Taoism were a big part of my upbringing even if not consciously. We're just not a high-stress family. I definitely learned how to chill out from him haha. My mum is an endless source of spiritual lessons and quotes so things like the serenity prayer, 'you can only change yourself', reminding me I'm 'a human being, not a human doing', all of that has been helpful in navigating. I've probably learned just as much, if not more, through example, though. My parents have been married for 32 years and they've worked hard for everything they have, so things like patience, perseverance, faith.

What song do you wish you had written?

There are so many. Any of those songs I automatically go to when I'm in my feelings about something. There are certain songs that I would have loved to have written just because they tell a story in a way different to how I would. Like, the subject is the same, the perspective is similar, but the personality of the narrative itself is totally disparate. I was listening to [Frank Ocean's] Nostalgia Ultra again recently and pretty much the entire mixtape gets me that way.

If you could say something to your 15 year old self, what would it be?

Don't ever let anyone else try and tell you your value. And don't cut your own hair.

What's your re-occurring nightmare?

When you're a kid you have nightmares about monsters. Now most of my nightmares are about love or taxes.

What song will they play at your funeral?

A lot of Jimi Hendrix. "Wild Thing" for sure. But everything's gonna get played, it'll be a party.

What 5 people would you invite to your fantasy dinner party?

Oh what that's so hard haha! If I really thought about it, it would probably be a mix of weird Internet personalities -- like people who have had memes made of them -- and friends. Oh and Neil Degrasse Tyson. I'm in love with him.

I try not to owe overdue apologies. Probably just anyone I made a snap judgement on. Treat others...
