Tove Styrke to debut new material at tiny London show next month
Tove Styrke is coming back to London to show off some fresh sounds at an intimate date next month presented by The Line Of Best Fit.
"This will be my first show in one and a half years and I’m beyond excited!" Styrke tells us. "It’s so great that I get to do this in London. Last time was such a turnout, I really can’t wait to get back. I’ve put together a new band and it sounds better than ever. It’s going to be a mix of old and new material. You’ll love it!"
The Swedish sensation returned last month, and chatted to us in detail about comeback single "Say My Name" (above) and her next steps.
"It’s quite different..." Styrke told us of her new music. "To me it’s the total opposite... on Kiddo my only rule was there is no rule; let’s do everything, let’s add everything, more is more... this time what I’ve been trying to do is keep it as simple as possible."
Tove Styrke will play London's Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen on 12 June (14+ only, under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.)
