Leaving a string of successful EPs in their wake, London based noise-trio Three Trapped Tigers released their debut album Route One Or Die last week. Blending electronic influences with a prolonged exposure to classical music, the record pits delicate synths against ferocious guitars and constantly shifting time signatures. ‘Noise Trade’ then is a perfect example of what Three Trapped Tigers have to offer – an angular barrage of noise composed of frantic drums, synth driven harmonies and some incredibly rapid guitar play. With unexpected twists and turns, the tracks unsettling aesthetic is accompanied by a slightly nightmarish vision of a robot who thrives on the beating hearts of wild animals.
