Los Angeles-based Kelsey Bulkin (formerly of Made In Heights) has returned with new single and video "West Coast Drama".
Bulkin wowed us over the summer with debut solo offering "Andromeda", and appeared as a guest on ODESZA's recent LP A Moment Apart.
Self-produced jewel "West Coast Drama" is - despite the name - surprisingly drama free, with Bulkin's assured vocals strutting through a low-key beat and rippling '80s synths. It's a slick and minimalist jam, with simple pop manoeuvres and pared-back percussion leading the way. True to the age-old adage, less is indeed more.
"West Coast Drama" is out now.
