Bright Eyes frontman Conor Oberst is set to release a new solo record under his own name this May, today unveiling another track from it.
Following on from lead cut “Hundreds Of Ways” is ”Governor’s Ball”, airing below. “This is a return to an earlier way I wrote,” Oberst says in a press release. “It’s more intimate or personal… For me, language is a huge part of why I make music.”
You can take a listen to the new song now. The LP, Upside Down Mountain, will be released on 18 May.
Here’s the album’s artwork beneath, designed by Ian Felice of the Felice Brothers.
