With one of the most powerful rock vocals we’ve heard in quite some time, Illinois-born Elisabeth Corrin Maurus, better known as Lissie, returns this September with her second long player Back To Forever.
Ahead of the record, the confident performer drops the first single ‘Shameless‘ this week and heads over to the UK at the end of the month for a slot at Hard Rock Calling alongside Bruce Springsteen.
We met Lissie last week for a film-date on a London rooftop. While G8 protests raged in the streets nearby and the oncoming rain threatened to close us down, we captured an awesome cut of brand new track ‘Further Away’, which features on Back To Forever, due for a September release; watch it above.
