Yo La Tengo issuing new single as a shower curtain
Yo La Tengo are one of the few bands that really understands the issue of damp bathroom tiling, releasing a new 3×12″ package inside a shower curtain.
The single in question, ‘Ohm’ is set for release on 30 July via Matador and the Hoboken based 3-piece ain’t doing things by the normal methodology. Indeed, it comes packaged inside a “4-box poly shower curtain display case”, which Matador recommends you hang on your wall, which seems like of a waste of a perfectly good shower curtain.
The package includes three different 12″ versions of the track, each with seperate artwork to coincide with the pattern of the curtain. The orange sleeve contains the album version, the yellow sleeve contains a “live quiet version” and the red contains a “live rock version”. All three also include a remix from Oriole.
