While Daft Punk appeared but didn’t actually perform, one rumour about last night’s MTV Video Music Awards was actually true: Justin Timberlake reuniting with his former pop band *N Sync.
With JT picking up the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award on the night, the singer took the time to recruit his former boy bandmates for renditions of ‘Girlfriend’ and ‘Bye Bye Bye’, among other Timberlake hits.
