
Thom Yorke, Beyoncé, Pharrell, and more shortlisted for Oscars 2020
The 2020 Oscars shortlist has been revealed, with Thom Yorke, Beyoncé, Pharrell, and more among those nominated for the Best Original Song award.
Thom Yorke is on the 92nd Oscars shortlist for a second year in a row, after his "Suspirium" song made the shortlist last year. This time around his "Tiny Battles" song from Edward Norton's Motherless Brooklyn has made the shortlist.
Beyoncé's Lion King track "Spirit" has also made the list, alongside Elton John's Lion King track "Never Too Late". John and Taron Egerton's "(I’m Gonna) Love Me Again" song from Rocketman has also made the 2020 shortlist.
The 2020 Oscars shortlist for Best Original Song also includes Pharrell and Chad Hugo's The Black Godfather track "Letter To My Godfather" has also been nominated.
Taylor Swift missed out on a nomination in 2020 for her "Beautiful Ghosts" track from the CATS reboot.
The Best Original Song shortlist will be narrowed down from 15 to just five tracks for the annual ceremony in February 2020.
