The Strokes' Albert Hammond Jr confirms solo EP on Julian Casablancas' label

Albert Hammond Jr. of The Strokes fame has revealed that he will be dropping a new five-track EP this October through Cult Records, the label owned by his band mate Julian Casablancas.
Going by the name AHJ, the five-track short-player will drop on 8 October. It follows on from his band’s recent album Comedown Machine, thought to be the group’s last on RCA Records.
It will be Hammond’s first solo release since 2008′s album ¿Cómo te Llama?. The first record released by Casablancas’ imprint was the latest effort from The Virgins.
