To mark the 30th anniversary of their debut album, The Smiths’ entire back-catalogue has been remastered and made available via iTunes.
The Smiths (1984), Meat Is Murder (1985), The Queen Is Dead (1986), Strangeways, Here We Come (1987), as well as compilations Hatful of Hollow and The World Won’t Listen and live album Rank have all been re-released here.
The collection promises “greatly improved audio fidelity”, “replicating the intentions of the artists, producers and recording engineers”.
Meanwhile, Morrissey is set to release a new solo album later this year. Johnny Marr, on the other hand, is writing his memoirs.
