The Rentals announce first album in 15 years Lost in Alphaville, stream new track "Thought of Sound"

Alt-pop outfit The Rentals will release their first album in 15 years this summer.
The group, fronted by ex-Weezer bassist Matt Sharp, will follow 1999′s Seven More Minutes and their 2007 comeback EP with Lost in Alphaville on 26 August via Polyvinyl. The LP will feature Patrick Carney of the Black Keys and was mixed by D. Sardy (LCD Soundsystem/Jay Z).
Listen to new track “Thought of Sound” beneath. Sharp was a founding member of Weezer and featured on their first two albums.
