Despite their Last Splash reunion tour and reissue, The Breeders have pretty much been on hold recently in favour of Kim Deal’s solo work. Now however, it looks like they’re starting on a new album.
Speaking to Stereogum, Deal revealed that the band are beginning on their first album in six years. “We’re down in the basement recording and the songs are sounding good,” the singer said of the follow-up to 2008′s Mountain Battles.
Meanwhile, Deal is still set to release more of her recent solo 7″ singles.
