Sunset Sons sign to Polydor, share video for "Remember"
When we galloped down to Brighton for The Great Escape, we were mightily impressed by a UK/Australian four-piece by the name of Sunset Sons.
Our own George O'Brien described them as definite NBTs: "Their radio-ready pop-rock sound sits somewhere between Maroon 5 and Kings Of Leon and the frontman’s effortlessly charismatic approach puts everything in line for mainstream success. The latter comparison is uncanny at times as the vocal delivery growls out over restless rhythms and punchy power chords. Undoubtedly a name to remember."
Evidently, with their recent signing to Polydor, George wasn't far off the mark. Skirting the worlds of pop and rock, Sunset Sons' propensity for hooks and ear-pleasing nuggets of noise will surely appeal to both camps with ease.
Check out the video for new single "Remember", take from their debut EP due out late October, right now.
