Stream new Boardwalk Empire soundtrack, featuring St Vincent, The National, Patti Smith & more
A second volume of the soundtrack to HBO show Boardwalk Empire is set for release next week, with a flurry of impressive contributors among the tracklisting, now available to stream.
Boardwalk Empire Volume 2: Music From The HBO® Original Series is the follow-up to the Grammy-winning first part, and will come out on 3 September. It sees a collection of artists giving their takes on classic songs from the 1920s.
Among those on the soundtrack are Patti Smith, St. Vincent, The National’s Matt Berninger, Neko Case, Elvis Costello, Karen Elson, Rufus Wainwright, plus more.
