Lorde’s recent chart-topper, “Royals” is a track about materialism and wealth, criticising the celebrity world’s obsession with “Cristal, Maybach, diamonds on your timepiece”. So who does she get to feature on this new remix? Rick Ross, of course.
It’s ironic really, considering Ross even founded the Maybach Music Group. Despite the lyrical inconsistencies, the rapper does fit in with the flow of the whole thing.
