Public Image Ltd announce 40th anniversary vinyl reissues

John Lydon’s influential and innovative post-punk outfit, Public Image Ltd are to reissue a trio of their back-catalogue next month.
Virgin Records will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the band by re-releasing 1986′s Album, 1983 single ‘This is Not a Love Song’ and double A-side 12″ ‘Rise’ (1986) and ‘Warrior’ (1989). All of these will be pressed on picture-disc vinyl, with the first being Album on 21 October.
There will also be a PiL exhibition held at London’s Southampton Row on 24 October, showcasing rare items and memorabilia.
