London-based producer patten released what we called our 7th best album of the year back in 2011, with the bewildering Glaqjo Xaacsso. Having subsequently launched his own label Kaleidoscope, the musician has now announced that he’s inked a deal with electronic heavyweights Warp Records.
Hopefully this means a new record is on the way. Either way, patten will perform live at London’s Tate Britain on 6 December for the label’s recently-announced free show at the art gallery.
