Outkast reportedly working on new album
Yesterday the recently-reformed Outkast announced plans to play over 40 festivals this year. Now they could even been releasing a new album too.
The pair, consisting of Andre 3000 and Big Boi, are celebrating their 20 year anniversary this year, with former manager Queen Latifah spilling the beans of their current recording plans.
“They’re chilling… They’re doing movies… They’re about to work on a new album,” she recently said on The Howard Stern Show, before adding that she no longer manages the duo.
You can listen to that interview below, with the Outkast part coming at the 1:01:20 mark. Outkast’s potential new record would be their first since 2006′s Idlewild.
