Mark Lanegan has confirmed he will appear on the new Queens Of The Stone Age album, completing their “classic” line-up reunion.
The musician was part of the Songs For The Deaf line-up, which also featured Dave Grohl on drums.
The pair will team up with former full-time, and Kyuss, member Nick Oliveri, who will provide guest vocals for the first time after being kicked out of the group in 2004 following allegations of domestic abuse.
FACT also report that the band’s lead member Josh Homme has also been working with Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor on a track for the release.
The LP is expected to drop in March, although this has yet to be confirmed.
