MAMA Group buy London's Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen venue
Music venue and artist management company, MAMA Group have acquired London’s Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen.
The co-operative, who already own The Forum, The Garage, Camden Barfly, The Borderline and more, have announced they’ve added the East London 450 capacity haunt to their increasing roster of gig settings.
CEO Dean James told CMU:
“Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen is one of the premiere venues in London for showcasing new talent. We started fifteen years ago with The Barfly in Camden and gave first London gigs to bands like Coldplay and Muse. The axis of London’s music scene has definitely shifted East over the years and we have long coveted a space where we could do what we do best – promote up and coming artists. With Hoxton we think we have got the best site in East London”.
MAMA Group also help run such music festivals as The Great Escape, Lovebox and Global Gathering.
