Lou Reed's final photograph revealed

The last picture ever taken of Lou Reed has been posted to the late musician’s official website.

The photograph, depicted above, comes with the following caption from Reed’s manager, Tom Sarig:

“Just a couple of weeks ago Lou did a photo session intended to become a print ad for his friend Henri Seydoux’s French audio headphones company Parrot. The renowned photographer Jean Baptiste Mondino took the shots, and this was the very last shot he took. Always a tower of strength.”

Reed passed away on Sunday (27 October) from a liver-related illness.
