For their recent SiriusXM session while over in the States, Los Campesinos! offered up a rare rendition of Blink 182 track ”Going Away To College”.
The Cardiff-based sextet took on the pop-punk staple, lifted from Blink’s 1999 album Enema of the State, the results of which can be streamed below.
“It’s really hard to not sing Blink in an American accent but I think we just about managed it,” the band said of their choice of cover. “We love that band so hope we did an ok job.”
Meanwhile, Los Camp! are set to headline the second stage at this year’s Truck Festival, taking place in Oxford during July.
