Deer Tick are returning with a brand new album later this month, revealing two tracks from that very release in the form of ’Just Friends’ and ‘The Curtain’.
The band’s fifth album, Negativity will drop on 24 September (U.S) / 30 September (UK) via Partisan Records.
When quizzed on the new record by Rolling Stone, frontman Ian O’Neil said: “I wrote ‘The Dream’s in the Ditch’ in the winter of 2012, living in Bed-Stuy between Deer Tick tours. Originally, it was intended to be a part of Dirt Naps, a project with Dennis Ryan and Julian Veronesi from Titus Andronicus, but Steve dug it and so we fleshed it out for Negativity.”
