Glasgow synth-pop outfit, CHVRCHES guested on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show this week, sticking around for an interview, a few live performances and an exciting cover of Whitney Houston’s 1999 heartbreak anthem, ‘It’s Not Right But It’s Okay’.
Alongside ‘In Mother We Share’ and ‘By The Throat’, the trio’s frosty electro-pop and sweetness of Lauren Mayberry’s vocals provided a refreshing new twist on Houston’s R&B classic.
Check out the performance below, or the entire session from the BBC.
