A new Kickstarter-esque website, Beat Delete are aiming to re-press rare vinyl releases lost in the London riots warehouse fire of 2011.
Stock from many independent labels were ruined in the flames that spread throughout the Sony-PIAS warehouse and now Beat Delete aim to replace these.
The site is running a similar pledge system to the likes of Kickstarter, with fans pledging towards individual items. Once they reach their given target, they’ll be reprinted and up for sale.
The first likely to be reissued is King Geedorah – Take Me To Your Leader, currently at 84% of its overall goal.
More info on the project can be found here.
