Kendrick Lamar album goes platinum with 1 million sales

Everyone may be talking about his verse on ‘Control’ recently, but it’s his record good kid, m.A.A.d city that’s been notching up the sales steadily over the past year, with Kendrick Lamar achieving Platinum certification for his studio debut.
The album, released back in October 2012, reached the milestone this week when it shifted 9,000 more units to cross the 1 million sales mark.
good kid, m.A.A.d city reached number 2 in the U.S charts on its initial release, peaking at number 16 in the UK. You can listen to ‘Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe’ from it below:
