Kanye West declares his own verse from 'New Slaves' as “best of all time”

Kanye West, no stranger to hyperbole and egotism, has declared the second verse to recent Yeezus album cut ‘New Slaves’ as the best of all time.

No, he doesn’t just mean his best ever, but the “best rap verse of all time” in general. In a tweet over the weekend, he asserted that:

I open the debate… The 2nd verse of New Slaves is the best rap verse of all time….meaning … OF ALL TIME IN THE HISTORY OF RAP MUSIC, PERIOD

Given the responses to the tweet, it seems that people aren’t agreeing with West. Here’s the verse in question:
