James Blake says that Kanye West, Connan Mockasin and Bon Iver are on his new album
While nothing official's been released about James Blake's new record, the Blakester's been squeezing out little hints here and there.
It's apparently called Radio Silence. It's apparently out this year. It's apparently featuring a song, also called "Radio Silence".
Interestingly, according to Blake, it will also feature Connan Mockasin, Bon Iver's Justin Vernon, and, probably, Kanye West. There is proof that he said these words too, unless Esquire are lying through their pens.
Responding to a question about Kanye and Vernon appearing on the LP, Blake said: “I can confirm they’re on it... Kanye - I’m with him today. We’d already started on something but it’s not in full swing. Today we should nail something down. If it doesn’t end up on the album you know it hasn’t worked. Connan Mockasin is also involved.”
Then again, he might just be having a bit of a larf.
