Wild Flag’s brilliant self-titled debut was released back in 2011 but, sadly, it looks like a follow-up will not be coming.
Speaking to The Skinny recently, drummer Janet Weiss revealed in pretty official terms that the band have called it a day.
“It was great but I think it just kinda ran its course,” Weiss is quoted as saying in the interview. “It’s hard to have a band when you live five hours apart by plane.”
Luckily, however, fans can minimise their mourning by watching this live video of a Sleater-Kinney reunion of sorts, the former band of both Weiss and Carrie Brownstein.
