Frank Ocean “10-11 songs in” to new album, may feature Pharrell, Danger Mouse & King Krule
Frank Ocean has revealed he already has nearly an album’s worth of tracks for his next record.
Speaking to Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1 earlier today, Ocean said that he was “10-11 songs in” to the follow-up to 2012′s Channel Orange.
He also revealed that he’s been in the studio with Pharrell Williams, is planning on teaming up with Danger Mouse and would like to collaborate with King Krule, who he described as having a “special voice”.
Ocean refuted that he would not write a record for another two years, saying ”I can’t tour for two years straight because I have to record. I plan on getting out this summer “.
His first studio effort, Channel Orange dropped last year to rave reviews.
