Flyte announce new single "Light Me Up"
Indie-pop foursome Flyte have revealed details of new single, "Light Me Up", which is streaming now.
Speaking about the track, the band explain their intentions:
"Light Me Up is about someone wrenching you out of a depressive state, it's about first love. When you're in a period of feeling low you feel like a tree that that's covered in vines, stopping the air and the light from getting to you. It stops you writing or being creative and nothing moves you to get up and go anywhere or experience anything. Falling in love makes all of that go away, you can see colours properly again and hear songs in your head and write them down. It's about shade into light, black and white into technicolor.”
