As reported over the weekend, The Flaming Lips have been in the studio recording with Miley Cyrus. Now, more details of that session have emerged.
As The Future Heart point out, it appears that Wayne Coyne and co are allegedly working on a covers LP of The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band with the likes of Miley on “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds”, MGMT’s Andrew VanWyngarden, Tame Impala, Phantogram, Foxygen, Zorch and possibly more.
The record, which has not yet been officially announced, would follow on from the band’s Pink Floyd, Stone Roses and King Crimson cover albums.
