Disclosure, AlunaGeorge, Jessie Ware & more nominated for MOBO Awards 2013
This year’s shortlist for the MOBO Awards has been announced, ahead of the event next month.
The 18th annual awards ceremony will take place at Glasgow’s Hydro Arena on 19 October, marking the best in urban and black-originated music.
Among the nominated acts this year are Disclosure for ‘Best Male Act’, ‘Best Album’ and ‘Best Song’, AlunaGeorge for ‘Best Video’ and ‘Best Song’, Jessie Ware for ‘Best Female’ and ‘Best R&B/Soul Act’, plus Wiley, Lianna La Havas and Laura Mvula listed in other categories.
‘Best International Act’ will see the likes of Kanye West, Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar and more fighting it out.
