Cat Power, Sky Ferreira, DIIV, WHY? & more to play Elliott Smith memorial concert

Later this month sees the 10 year anniversary of Elliott Smith’s death, with a number of tribute concerts being thrown worldwide. Now the New York leg has announced a flurry of acts set to pay homage to the beloved songwriter.
Among those involved will be the likes of Cat Power, DIIV’s Zachary Cole Smith (performing with Sky Ferreira), WHY?’s Yoni Wolf, The Low Anthem, Marissa Nadler, Here We Go Magic’s Luke Temple and more.
The show takes place at Brooklyn’s Glasslands on 21 October, with a percentage of money raised going to the Elliott Smith Memorial Fund.
